About Your Instructor

Gloria Overcash is continually inspired by the transformation Kundalini Yoga brings to the body, mind, and soul. She strives to compassionately uplift and serve while delivering an experience that helps one align with his/her authentic self. She enjoys sharing yogic techniques to help one navigate through life with strength, peace, and grace. She is very passionate about Kundalini Yoga and is honored to serve the community of Bozeman by sharing these incredible teachings. Her spiritual yogic name, Ravi Inder Kaur, means “Princess of God who is blessed to live with divine consciousness, who shines with the radiance of the Sun, and who has the light of God in her eyes.”
As a young adult, Gloria/Ravi Inder was first inspired to practice yoga after discovering the book “Richard Hittleman’s 28 Day Yoga Exercise Plan.”  In 2002, she dove into a home practice during her first pregnancy with Jeannine Parvati Baker’s classic book “Prenatal Yoga and Natural Birth.”  In 2007, she found Kundalini Yoga and knew it would be her lifelong practice.  Not long after, while pregnant once again, she attended her first ever teacher training- The Khalsa Way Pregnancy Yoga Program, rooted in the ancient science of Kundalini Yoga.

Her primary passion is working with pregnant women, but she loves to share the incredible art and science of Kundalini Yoga with everyone. Gloria/Ravi Inder has trained under several of the world’s most celebrated senior Kundalini Yoga Instructors and is an IKYTA Certified Kundalini Yoga Instructor through the Kundalini Research Institute.  She has completed specialty training in Supporting People with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder Through Kundalini Yoga from the Guru Ram Das Center for Medicine & Humanology and Yogic Science for Breaking Habits and Addictive Behaviors from SuperHealth, Inc.  She is also certified in teaching Khalsa Way Pregnancy Yoga through Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa, author of Bountiful, Beautiful, Blissful and The Eight Human Talents.  Additionally, she is a certified Spirit Baby Mommy & Me Yoga Instructor and has trained with Shakta Kaur Khalsa in her Radiant Child Yoga Program  and also holds a teaching certificate from Cosmic Kids Yoga.  A certified Dancing for Birth™ Instructor, she also loves teaching world dance classes to pregnant and postpartum women.  Always learning and growing, Gloria/Ravi Inder graduated in 2014 from YogaMotion’s Life Enrichment and Teacher Training Program with local yoga expert Nancy Ruby in order to expand her understanding, application, and practice of Hatha Yoga.  Most recently, Gloria has completed the Sacred Postpartum Mother Roaster training and is incorporating these practices into her work with mothers.

Gloria was nominated by a student and honored with a 2011 Peacemaker Award from the Community Mediation Center for her work with mothers and families through yoga.  She lives in downtown Bozeman with her husband, BodyTalk Practitioner Josh Overcash and their three sons, ages 1, 8 and 13. In addition to her yoga and meditation practice, she enjoys playing the gong, learning to play the harmonium, gardening, hiking and camping in the great outdoors, and hanging out with her family.

“Ravi Inder teaches with easy grace and confidence that is both instructive and uplifting. Her natural kindness and warmth shine through as she expertly encourages the class, guiding us into and out of the postures and inspiring us to do our very best. Ravi Inder’s nurturing teaching style creates a safe space to deeply relax and heal through this practice so that we can live the fullest expression of our lives. She is a natural.” ~Kundalini Yoga Instructor Gurbani Kaur~
