Motherhood can be mentally, physically, emotionally, and energetically challenging. Self-care frequently falls to the bottom of the to-do list while the laundry and dishes pile up. Caring for tiny humans is no small task and hormonal changes coupled with sleep deprivation can seriously compromise our well-being. Postpartum experiences can vary greatly, and more women than you’d think experience postpartum depression, insomnia, rage, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, and/or compulsive behavior.
